I’ve been meaning to take more flattering photos of this yarn but chasing light involves a lot of going outside during the day and I’m not a fan, especially in the thick of trees’ mating season. So I guess I’ll just suck it up and share what I already have.
Hi guys! I went to the Ann Arbor Fiber Expo this weekend, and there is so much I want to post about. I’m going to try to put a few posts in my queue so I’m not overwhelming your dash with pictures.
First up I wanted to post the fabulous yarn I got from V Yarn. You might recall that she dyed the yarn for shawl I made in this post. I got to meet her at the booth and she is so super nice, and her yarns are seriously amazing! She does a lot of fandom related colors. These are the two I picked up at the Expo. The lighter colored colorway is ‘Mirror of Erised’ and the brighter colored one is ‘Through Dangers Untold.’ I’m totally in love with them.
I think I’ve asked this before, but what are your favorite one skein patterns? They’re both fingering weight - one is 460 yards and one is 420. I’m not big on socks right now but I’m open to everything else!
Organizing my yarn stash! I clipped an inch or two from each ball I have and attached it to its ball band. They are now sitting in my binder for easy access. That way, even if I’m out, I know what to go buy later. And it’s nice not to have the ball bands hanging out all over the floor any time I pull yarn out.
Anyway, I love being organized :)
