This is the current mammoth project I’m working on, it was supposed to be finished for winter this year, but seeing as we’re headed into summer here now and I still have a fair way to go on this I guess I’ll just have to wait til next winter to wear it. The tension is a little funny in places but it’s only the second time I’ve ever done colour work like this and I had to teach myself how to knit continental style to make it easier to knit with two or three colours.
It’s based off of this pattern I found on Ravelry.
I’m on Ravelry looking for patterns (and avoiding the dishes…) What do you think about this contender?
Lila by Carrie Bostick Hoge.
Pros: Obvious. It’s gorgeous! Love the dropped hem in back and the stockinette cuffs.
Cons: Small needles = still knitting three years later.
I’m going to pull up a few more.
